Now that Maura has started preschool, or “PreK” as she often corrects me, Amy is home alone with me Monday through Thursday. Our mornings are spent snuggling, coloring, and saying “I love you too” a hundred times.
Today, Amy looked at our finch feeder outsider her window. She gets so excited watching the yellow birds fly up to the feeder and have a snack. She squeals with delight as they bob their heads and flap their wings.
I love this time. I’m getting to know my baby girl, and she’s getting the chance to know me all by herself. And I think she’s really enjoying having some attention that’s all for her.
