I was recently working on a project with my online photography class, doing an assignment where we were supposed to find an “everyday hero”. I have a long list of my own personal heroes. However I wanted my image to show a hero that everyone could relate to, and I wanted to show the hero’s human side as well.
Ken stepped in to help me by donning his military fatigues and snuggling with his little girls. I have a lot of respect for the men and women of our military. I can’t imagine what it’s like to be a part of the military, but I’m glad that these brave individuals make it so that I don’t have to worry about my safety or freedom.
