I’m a family photographer which means I photograph client families but – most importantly – I also photograph my OWN family! Sometimes I want to mix things up and get a fresh perspective. So to help get me over a creative hump, I purchased a fun photography gadget called a Lensbaby. As you can see, it produces really exciting and unique photography effects with the images. Besides tweaking the colors slightly, I haven’t photoshopped or edited these photos at all – this is what the Lensbaby can do!
When I received my Lensbaby in the mail, I immediately began shooting my family and everything else around my house. Yes, even my chickens…
It took some getting used to because it’s an unconventional camera lens. But that’s okay! I like it because it produces unconventional images.
Sometimes trying something different can spark new ideas, techniques, and possibilities.
