Family. It’s the biggest thing, the first thing, the most important thing. In the end, it’s the only thing that matters. What does family mean to you? I’m pretty sure I’d answer differently than the next person, and they would answer differently than the next one in line. Family means something different to each person, but at its core there is a common thread: Love.
I’ve learned a lot about a family’s strength in the last 20 years. We’ve moved around quite a bit, and we learned early on that when it’s all said and done, when all the chaos settles, through years of change, Family is the one thing that remains.
These daily moments we spend together, the things we do just to pass the time between mealtimes and sports practices or naptimes and bedtimes… these are the things memories are made of. The little things are really the big things after all.
