Web-sized social sharing files
What exactly is a “web-sized social sharing file”?
Digital files come in two sizes: large and small. Web-sized social sharing files are the small ones. Their intended use is for sharing online.
What can I do with a “web-sized social sharing file”?
You can upload these image files to social media, you can send them in an email, you can load them on your phone to share with others, and so on. These files are NOT intended for print use. They do not come with a print release and they are sized too small to be printed.
What should I do if I want to print my images?
Web-sized social sharing files do not come with a print release and they are sized quite small, so if you try to take them to a store to get printed, they will come out grainy and pixelated. If you’ve ever tried to print an image that is too small, you might remember getting the little yellow triangle with the exclamation mark warning, because the file size is too small.
If you would like to print your images, you should plan to purchase master digital files. Those files come with a print release and can be printed up to 8×10.
How much do the web-sized social sharing files cost?
Web-sized files are FREE. I give them to you for any image you purchase in either master digital or print form. For example, if you purchase an album with 20 images in it, you will also receive the 20 images as web-sized social sharing files. If you purchase a package with 40 master digitals, you will receive those same images as 40 web-sized social sharing files.
Can I get the free web-sized social sharing files of the other images that I don’t purchase?
The web-sized files are a complimentary gift with purchase, so no – they are not available for images you choose not to purchase.
