Large, extended family photos can be a challenge. I love a great challenge!

I worked with this family before we met to advise them on how to choose family photo outfits so that they would coordinate, without looking TOO closely matched. Styling a group this big can be quite a challenge but I think this family did a great job. They stuck to 1 main color (red) and added in neutrals (white/cream, black, and shades of gray). You can see how cohesive the group looks, even with over 60 people in the frame!

Watching this family spend time together made me a little homesick for the family gatherings my own parents host with my siblings and their families. I know how rare it is for a whole family to be gathered together at one time, in one place, and I’m so glad I could be there to preserve this memory for them to keep and treasure!
